Jewish Interactive (Ji) ran their first online matching fundraising campaign - #ReNewTheFuture - in the lead up to Rosh Hashana, with the aim of raising $150k towards continued activities and growth.
A generous donor provided $75k on a matching basis and thanks to an overwhelming amount of incredible support the target was successfully achieved shortly before the campaign finished. Stories flooded in from around the world, like the one from a little girl in Detroit who has spent most of her 7 years in hospitals and said that this platform has enabled her to have access to a Jewish education from her hospital bed.
Jewish Interactive's staff team based in the UK, US, Israel & South Africa helped spread awareness about the campaign around the globe. Aside from raising crucial funds, a key success of the campaign has been increasing Ji's profile.
